to the few brave ones who chose to answer and to the many more who dint, here are the answers:

1. Vajpayee a few hours before the babri demolition. The only evidence which connects him directly to the babri case.

2. Revolver. Invented by Samuel Colt.

3. The Jules Rimet Trophy (ex-FIFA WC).
The guy is the 3rd FIFA president Jules Rimet. The dog is Pickles, from a famous incident in 1966, where the Trophy was stolen months before the WC and was eventually discovered by it. The 3rd pic is of Goddess Nike, the JL Trophy had her on itself.

4. X- cover of the Beatles album Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band.
Y- Mahatma Gandhi

5- Lines from a famous folktale in Rajasthan, according to which Chand Bardai used these lines to prompt a blinded Prithviraj Chauhan to correctly shoot an arrow at Md. Ghori and kill him. However, this tale is mainly believed to be fiction.

6. A copy of the 1939 edition of Wisden.

7. Books called Larry Potter and his best friend Lily; The Legend of Muggles and Rah by Nancy Kathryn Stouffer, who made unsuccessful allegations of plagiarism at JK Rowling.
